We work for you — never for a contractor

For family members

Help them plan. Keep them in control.

Start with what your parent or loved one wants to keep doing at home. Then work through the free home check together, with their permission.

Start the free home check together

Before you begin

  • Allow about 15 minutes. You do not need contractor bids or room photos to start.
  • Select “My parent(s)” or “Someone else” on the first question.
  • Use an email address you can access. The person completing the check enters their own date of birth, if provided, and the ZIP code of the home being assessed.
  • At the end, verify that email to open the private plan. Keep the tab open until you finish; an unfinished questionnaire cannot currently be resumed after closing it.

Make decisions together

The free result gives you a readiness score and priorities to discuss. It is a planning guide, not a diagnosis or a certification that the home is safe.

Begin with everyday concerns: reaching the bathroom at night, using the shower, managing steps, or moving through doorways. Let your loved one explain what is difficult and what matters to them.

When you are ready for the next step

Optional contractor documents turn the priorities into a scope of work that several contractors can quote. Bid reviews help you compare what is included and prepare questions before signing.

You can share a view-only plan link with family. Signing in to someone else’s account or having a plan ID does not give you permission to access their private information.
