What we will and won't tell you about price

Every dollar figure we show traces to a dated, published source — never to a guess. In the Dallas–Fort Worth area we hold published rates for common accessibility work, and where a bid line matches one we show the rate, name the source, and give the date it was recorded. Outside that area we say plainly that we have no rates for you, and the review stays qualitative: what's missing, what doesn't fit your needs, and exactly what to ask.

Either way we don't rule on whether a contractor's price is fair. One published rate is not a market, and a bid legitimately carries materials, access, and whatever the job turns up behind the wall.
